Transforming a basement room into a garage

Certain homeowners are always looking for ways to find storage space, especially when their property or home is limited in size. Let’s take a look at how we can transform a basement room in a home into a garage. To do so, the homeowners replaced their patio door with a 6’10” wide by 6’6” high garage door. They even added an electric garage door opener.

The homeowners use this garage not to park their car but rather to store, among other things, their motorcycle and their ski-doo.

Of course, they had to redo the wall and ceiling insulation in order to meet local home construction standards.

There are no limits to the different size choices that Garaga can offer you. The smallest dimensions are 4 feet wide by 6 feet high. With regards to width, the maximum available is 20 feet. As for height, have no fear, even if you have a camper, Garaga can meet all of your size needs.

To give it a personal touch, we suggest you add windows. In the example here, they used a “panoramic” model from Garaga, which lets in lots of natural lighting. If you are looking for more privacy, Garaga can install tinted or satin windows. All these windows are tempered on both sides in order to provide homeowners with the maximum amount of security.
